A headline that captured my attention, as one should always question, from time to time, why one does anything. This is a positive article but draws attention to what one may (wrongly) expect a social media marketing campaign to do for their company. If we use the age old marketing term ‘promotional mix’, then no one communication channel or platform should be expected to achieve sales conversion on its own. The right balance of many tools is key. It’s part of an integrated marketing effort and if your marketing strategy is right, then good overall results should ensue.
